Role Description
As we continue to grow, we’re looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Web Engineer to join our Product & Engineering team.
In this role, you’ll design, build, and improve the web applications at the heart of our customer and operational experience — from customer-facing products used every day to the internal tools that keep our locations running effectively.
Working closely with an experienced group of designers, product managers, and engineers, you’ll play a key role in shaping our products and technical direction.

Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain business-critical web applications for customers and internal teams
- Own and contribute to the architecture and technical strategy of the web ecosystem
- Build responsive, accessible, and performant user interfaces in close partnership with the wider product team
- Integrate the APIs and services that power web and mobile applications
- Work closely within an autonomous, cross-functional team and contribute to a positive and inclusive working environment
- Clearly articulate technical concepts and ideas to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Write well-structured, maintainable code and uphold high standards across the codebase
- Deploy software to production, monitor performance and availability, and diagnose and resolve issues
What We’re Looking For
- At least 5 years’ experience building and shipping production web applications, ideally within environments supporting both web and mobile products
- Strong proficiency with TypeScript and modern web frameworks such as React and Next.js
- Experience building responsive, accessible, and performant front-end experiences in collaboration with designers
- Strong engineering practices, including CI/CD, clean code, and testing across unit, integration, and other appropriate levels
- Experience integrating third-party APIs and services
- Familiarity with web security best practices
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving complex problems, both independently and collaboratively
- Comfortable turning ambiguous requirements into concrete user stories and technical solutions
- Experience with headless CMS platforms and modelling content for non-technical editors
- Practical knowledge of Next.js rendering modes and CDN caching, including diagnosing unexpected caching or rendering behaviour
- Understanding of technical SEO for multi-location organisations, including structured data, location pages, and Core Web Vitals
- Nice to have: full-stack experience, or an interest in learning and contributing to backend development
